Food and Wine Series 2008
The Windjammer Food and Wine Series will begin in January and run through April with eight events. The events will be a combination of four tastings and four dinners, both of which will feature accomplished speakers and educators in a relaxed setting. With focus on several different regions and winemaking styles there is something for every wine enthusiast, novice and sommelier alike!
Celebrity Server
Join us on April 1st for the Windjammer’s Celebrity Server Event benefiting the Ronald McDonald House Charities. Local Celebrities come together with our amazing servers and serve the community for a night. All of the gratuities collected for that evening are donated to Ronald McDonald House Charities. The Ronald McDonald House is a “home away from home” for families with children needing medical care at Fletcher Allen Health Care. Our servers and local celebrities have raised over $21,000 for this fantastic organization. Call 802-862-6585 to reserve your celebrity server!
Windjammer Golf Tournament
Join us on Wednesday July 16, 2008 for the Windjammer’s 9th Annual Golf Tournament benefiting Camp TA-KUM-TA. All proceeds for this event will help Camp’s mission to give children with cancer a special week away from hospitals and treatment routines. It combines the fun of a traditional camp with the special arrangements necessary to ensure the safety and well being of children with cancer. This great event has raised over $71,000 for Camp TA-KUM-TA!
